Whew!!! We’ve had a couple of weeks to recover from Pride, so thought we’d provide a bit of an update from the weekend and let you know what’s coming up next. First of all we just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who came down to our Pride party at Soup with Midland, who did not disappoint with his eclectic selection of bumpers all night long. Respect due to all the dancers who made it through till 6am! We raised an amazing £1650 for the LGBT Foundation which is definitely something we can all be proud of.
In addition to this we were so happy to be asked to play for Love Party and Bent Hedonism on the Saturday. Love Party is a regular for us as they always put on a good do, and this year were raising money for Black Trans Foundation who are doing some vital work right now. Bent Hedonism was a first for us and was SO MUCH FUN!!! The vibes were immaculate; you really can’t go wrong with that cosy DBA courtyard. This was another fundraiser, this time for Colours Youth Network. so again great to be involved with helping out such a good cause.
What’s Next?

Really chuffed to be asked to play along side this line up of absolute babes at the weekend. Green Island have been curating a series of amazing events over the summer in a gorgeous Hulme garden, and this will be a great way to round up the festival season without having to go through all the faff of travelling and camping. Tickets available here.

Our Antoin gets to flex his UKG muscles down in Birmingham to round-up September. Super happy that garage is getting the queer representation it deserves at this gorgeous Pride event with a line-up of stunners. If you’re in Birmingham that weekend DO NOT MISS! Tix here.
Kiss Me Again w/ Marion Hawkes @ Soup - Saturday 1st October
We’ll be bringing in Halloween season with the incredible Marion Hawkes! Been wanting to get her over for some time now so super happy we can finally make this happen. Pumping Velvet presents Bad Gays @ Dalston Super Store - Friday 7th October
Last but not least, we are so so happy to be asked back by the folk at Pumping Velvet to play at their Bad Gays party, which follows a talk from the authors @ The Karaoke Hole. If you don’t know of the Bad Gays podcast/book then what are you doing with your life? No, seriously, sort it out! The line-up for this event is stellar before you even get on to the secret guest DJ so get yourself down to Dalston for what promises to be a very fun, very gay day. Tickets for the talk with authors + entry to the afterparty here.
Selections for your September listening
Dauwd - Psssh 003
This one’s been getting a bit of an airing from David over the past few weeks. On Dauwd’s own label, sounds kinda simple to start with but definite psychedelic vibes with a sprinkling of disco in there to get floor moving.
Herman - Unlocked
Banoffee Pies Rarely rarely disappoint with the likes of Cassius Select and, of course, Interplanetary Criminal on their roster, and this is 4-tracker keeps the momentum going. Herman’s sweeping bass and junglist inflections are a treat for the mind and the body.
Church Andrews & Matt Davies - AXIS
In a totally different strain, this release on Health has a kind of Pan Records feel to it. Kind of angular but still lush and a great album to really take some time out for dedicated listening. The production and the detail is beautiful and rich throughout.
That’s all for now
Hopefully we’ll see you at some of the various things we’ve got coming up.
